Dr. McNab has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Health Education and the American School Health Association, has been elected a fellow of these associations, and has received distinguished recognition awards from both of these associations. He has also received the distinguished service award from Eta Sigma Gamma the National Health Honorary for people in health sciences. He has served on the editorial boards of The Health Educator and the Journal of Health Education. Dr. McNab has been professor of health education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for the past 20 years where he has been awarded sixteen teaching awards. He has written over 70 professional publications, and given more than 90 presentations, primarily in the areas of sexuality education, adolescent health, humor, and teaching methodologies.
