Wong, David | back

Associate Research Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health; Ph.D., City University of Hong Kong .

Dr. Wong teaches course Advanced Pollution Ecology (EOH 769). His expertise is in Pollution Ecology, Invasive Biology, and Ecosystem Health. He conducts research on aquatic ecosystem health with a focus on how human activities, such as urban development, can affect water quality and natural fishery populations. Currently he is the coordinator of technical assistance, development, implementation, and review of monitoring programs related to limnology, ecology, toxicology, and management issues associated with Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Students who are interested in pollution ecology and aquatic biology are encouraged to contact him for research opportunities.
