(2004) Assistant Professor of Health Promotion, Dr.P.H., University of South Carolina.  Dr. Thompson-Robinson is a recognized expert in the area of cultural competence and serves as a Co-Director for the CDC/ASPH Institute for HIV Prevention Leadership.  She has published in the areas of cultural competence, HIV/AIDS, and cardiovascular disease.  She has received teacher and research of the year awards and is a member of Delta Omega, the public health honor society.
