How to enroll in the Master of Public (MPH) program:
1. Go
to UNLV's Graduate
College website.
2. Click
on Admissions
link.
3. Download Application Forms Link.
4. Download and complete the entire
Graduate College Application Form. The Graduate Assistantship
form may be found here.
(if interested)
5. Under
the degree program information section of the Application
Form, be sure to include the following:
Program
of Study : Master
of Public Health (MPH)
Area
of Concentration (choose one of the following):
- Environmental & Occupational Health (EOH)
- Biostatistics (BIO)
- Epidemiology (EPI)
- Health Care Administration and Policy (HCA&P)
- Health Promotion (HED)
- or leave blank if undecided
6. Attach
the following other requirements:
- A personal essay describing what you perceive
to be pressing public health issues, why a career
in the field appeals to you, and how it will use your
strengths and commitment.
- Resume
- Three letters of recommendation.
Note: The GRE, GMAT, MCAT and LSAT are no longer required, but may be submitted as supplemental information.
In addition, a satisfactory score on the Test of English
as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants
whose first language is not English.

7. Submit
the required information to either Linda Stetzenbach
and/or the Graduate College before June 1 for Fall admission or before November 1 for Spring admission (see list below).
