Epidemiology and biostatistics are challenging and fascinating fields of study. Both require a high level of scientific interest and quantitative abilities, and promote active student involvement in data-based research and application.
The mission of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Program is to provide future scientists with the tools necessary to design, implement, collect and analyze data to answer original research questions in public health.
Students in the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Program obtain an overview of the applied science of public health while focusing on investigative and quantitative methods for analyzing health data.
