Welcome to the School of Public Health at UNLV. Our mission is to improve quality of life and to eliminate health disparities by providing quality education, research, service and leadership.

The work of public health is to create conditions where people can be healthy. Because we focus on population health rather than on individual health, public health workers require unique education, skills and research opportunities. Our degree programs provide a variety of study concentrations both in the Master of Public Health degree and Master of Education in Health Promotion degree that will prepare students for a public health career. We plan a public health doctoral degree to begin within the next two years.
